Classified as super typhoon, "Yolanda", (international name "Haiyan") the 25th typhoon to break into the country this year is forecast to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility tomorrow, Thursday early morning and would leave on Sunday morning.
According to PAGASA weather forecaster Connie Davidas, the typhoon would make a landfall on Samar and it has a wide diamater. "Masyadong malawak po ito... and within this diameter, pwedeng maapektuhan ang buong Kabisayaan at partly, sa Northern Mindanao," she said.
Accordingly, the typhoon would also possibly hit the areas that were damaged by the recent earthquake particularly Bohol and Cebu.
NO CLASSES DECLARED
As of press time, No classes were declared in Cebu Province by Gov. Hilario Davide III,
The announcement applies in all school levels public and private on Nov 7 & 8, 2013.
Likewise, Albay has also declared NO CLASS starting tomorrow and Bohol announced NO CLASS on Nov. 7 & 8.
